Rare find !    Stamped on the base of the cat  - it reads : Darmouth Devon England 812.
Lovely vintage condition with no visible chips or cracks. 
(We think this cat looks rather like 'Top cat' from the 70's kids animation series ! ) 
The white version is hard to find. Original stopper in place , with a little wear & tear to it.
Date of manufacture period: possibly mid-late 1960's through to 70's.
