Anglepoise 1930's lamp(:1227) - SOLD OUT

This little gem is the original 1930s Anglepoise lamp designed by George Carwardine for Herbert Terry & Sons and made in Redditch, England. Design No: 1227 original AP.

This Lamp is the much sought-after early model with a 'rolled edge shade'.It has the two-stepped base and springs which are adjustable.

It had already been passed by an electrician when we got it and is in good working order.Bulb recommended is about 11-15w which we tested and is fine (anything higher than that would probably melt the bulb socket!)

Vintage style flex cord can be fitted by a qualified electrican. The original flex colour of the cord would have been :cream, plus the length would have been 5-6ft long(info we requested from www.anglepoise.com).Springs and parts can be ordered from the AP website.Flex cord can be found on the internet.
