Rosewood/ Mahogany retro side board-SOLD

Lovely solid piece of vintage furniture in good condition, with only a few marks of wear and tear, as to be expected.Possibly 50'/ 60's era made by the family company MORRIS OF GLASGOW of three generations. There is an engraved signature inside one of the cabinet doors that reads 'Morris of Glasgow'' .

The longest length of the sideboard measures 168cm / or 66".

There is a central top drawer which is lined in the green felt, plus just below a cabinet door hinges down to reveal a little cupboard space(handy space for your drinks stash)On either end of the sideboard there are cabinet doors that open to reveal more storage and a shelf that is removable from both sides.

The top surface is in lovely condition with just a small amount of surface abrasion, needing just a bit of care later on.

It has the pointy solid legs which just adds to the retro look. There are wooden handles which are slightly worn but all in place. We have added some teak oil over the surfaces to bring back the rich colour of the wood. The surfaces are Rosewood veneers with some solid wood in parts. The whole side board has a good quality weight to it.
