1.Product description

Most of our products will be vintage or antique. Due to their age, a lot of our items for sale will have wear & tear due to their age, including irregularities, which is not considered damaged or faulty. If you are unsure about an item or have some questions, we’d love to hear from you BEFORE you make your purchase. Do either give us a call or send an email.

The colour of photos : True colours of the photographed items on the web may alter slightly, due to variations on monitor screens. Do contact us if you need to ask any specific questions. Furthermore, we aim to make sure all information is accurate at the time it goes live on the website. Occasionally there may be errors which occur, of which, we aim to correct as soon as they have been highlighted. However, we will not be held responsible or liable for any of these errors.

 

2.Packaging

 Most packaging will be recycled where possible, to reduce waste to landfills.

3.Furniture sizes

​

We measure our items & furniture as best we can to give you an approximate size, at all angles. It is your responsibility to check measurements e.g. doorways & entrances or wherever your furniture item will be received whether it be your home, workplace or other location. Please do call us if you need to ask any questions about the width, height & depth of your chosen item. We’d love to hear from you.

 

3.Shipping/deliveries/ tracking to UK & N. Ireland. (Currently not exporting outside the UK.)

Large items -Please contact us with your delivery postcode to get a quote for your items of furniture or other. You are welcome to arrange your own collection/ pick up/ delivery of your purchased item at our storage locations in Hertfordshire. We use shiply.com, independent private couriers,then Parcel force & Royal Mail’s delivery option of ‘signed for’, when posting other items.

Medium to Smaller items:    All other smaller items will also be sent ‘signed for’ & are normally dispatched within

2-3days, after an order has been received.

If you are unable to receive your goods for any reason from Red Cave on the agreed specified day, we reserve the right to charge you for any rescheduled deliveries & cost we incur to rearrange.

We aim to use a tracking service to follow the journey of your purchased item/s.

 

 

4. Returns/refunds:

 All our vintage / antique furniture/ products, unfortunately, are NOT returnable due to the nature of their age.

We take great care to photograph our furniture/salvage items to expose any irregularities, small damage, & repairs. Plus, we will write about the condition /size of each item in the description section. Furthermore, If you would like to chat with us about the item in more detail then please do give us a call, BEFORE you make your purchase. We will be more than happy to help & welcome inquiries.

Delivery: Unfortunately, we will not be held responsible for any damage during transit. However, please inform Red Cave as soon as possible if you receive any damaged goods or within 24hrs of receipt.

5.Payment

Red cave excepts all major credit cards via PayPal or your own PayPal account. This is our chosen method of payment. We feel it’s the most secure way to make your account transactions as PayPal is one of the most trusted experts in secure online payment.
