NOW SOLD -    Very neat mid century 40's/ 50's small painted chest of drawers.Great storage with graduating drawer sizes.
All drawers are in an amazing clean condition inside - see photos. The handles are like a dull unpolished brass type, almost militaria style. 
Manufacture : CHARTA furniture ltd ( formally OSWAY ltd ) Located originally in Brighton, a family business set up in 1953 producing furniture for the bedrooom & the kitchen.Very limited information on the internet & no other samples of furniture found.Quite a rare find.
Lovely splayed legs on the front. Straight legs at back, which is a continuation of the unusal teak frame inside - see photos.
 
Factory paint in cream - does need a bit of attention as marks on the top surface & general wear & tear.
